Parent teacher conference

September 23rd, 2008 by Daddy

I had my first parent teacher conference and I found out that my future C.E.O. is doing exactly what she needs to be doing in class.

No discipline problems at all and she is on par with the rest of her peers in terms of cirriculumn.

This was certainly one of my “proud papa” moments but this isn’t good enough.

I put Kailys bike together to reward her for making progress in school but I have also doubled the amount of work that we do every night.

I can’t rely on a teacher to get the best of my daughter, especially when she has 12 other kids.

I must work with her to ensure that she not only continues on the path that she is on but also leaves the other kids in the dust.

A shy five year old!?!

September 1st, 2008 by Daddy

So my daughter has completed her first two weeks of school and I’m extremely proud.

During her first week of school I continued to hear that she was extremely shy, which she probably inherited from me.

I’m not a very outgoing person, especially towards strangers, and I’ve always taught her to be polite but to be weary of STRANGERS.

I’ve reassured Kailys teacher that she will take a little bit of time to get used to her new classmates and faces but lets be real.

This child has relocated to a completely different time zone, away from her away and friends and is now in a new school.

You can’t expect for all kids to be motor mouths, because they’re all not and really shouldn’t be!

I will continue to work on my C.E.O. being shy and keep you updated.
