My baby isn’t a baby anymore.

November 13th, 2007 by Daddy

It seems like it was just yesterday when I gave my daughter her first kiss on the forehead but that’s not the reality.

The reality is that I have a four year old that will turn five in less than six months.

I have a child that amazes every minute that I’m around her.

I have a child that is no longer my baby, she is my big girl.

A few months ago Kaily and I were having a conversation about what she wants to be when she gets to be my age.

During our conversation I referred to Kaily as my baby which apparently was an error on my part because she corrected me and called herself my big girl.

Ever since that conversation if I slip up and call Kaily my baby she will get onto me (imagine a 3 foot nothing little person fussing at you) about calling her a baby.

Funny that she has no problems with her Roro calling her a baby but when it comes to me there is no room for error.

This is the first entry for this site that I should have started along time ago.

I guarantee there will be many more to come as I groom my C.E.O.
